Tom, a VERY tasty drummer, is also one of today's prolific singer/songwriters and a master song picker. The Nolan Sessions marries great traditional blues elements with clean, crisp, updated production values. The combination is enticing and intriguing. A pure pleasure! One of my favorite tracks is I Love Everything. It's a stellar track with an incredible "let your backbone slip" groove that let's the song breath. It shows Toms ability to leave space where it's needed and tastefully fills space in all the right places! The horn arrangements and performances are killer! Kudos Tom!! I highly recommend this album to not only blues lovers but all music lovers.
