This album is one the world will come back to and say “wait how did we miss this” This album is true art. Ben has truly created an experience with this and my mind wonders along with it. I don’t think people give it a real chance. you need a good pair of headphones to really hear everything and then just let it play. It is so underrated. In a culture of very transparent and shallow music Ben has created a deep work of art.

What the ever living what?! This album is not even tolerable. Where is the singing? Where is Ben?? Waste of money...I’d give it zero stars if I could. So disappointed

...it doesn’t make it “bad”. His talent is on full display. This album won’t be for everyone but it’s artistry is undeniable. If you’re a patient listener, give it a few listens, let it sink in, and you may fall in love. If it isn’t for you, it isn’t for you, but it certainly isn’t crappy music.

Boring, depressing, and slow...I do not get the point...what happened?

We all grow, change, and explore. Why shouldn't we expect the same from our favorite artists? Who stays the same? These songs are a trip....

By all the negative reviews...I thought Ben Howard's fans were more progressive.

There’s a lot of people who are complaining about him being depressed or his music changing..?? But like things happen. It’s ok. He can be depressed, he can play with different styles. You’re only a real supporter if you appreciate him as a artist.

Ben! You are one of my all time favorite artist. Your lyrics and voice touches my soul almost every time. My dream came true this past week when I attended your concert in La. You are a gem of an artist, and in this new album your voice and lyrics are almost faded into a background. In the concert and in most of the album the instruments are so loud and super annoying, especially the electric guitars, as a result it washes away the lyrics and your beautiful voice , the two things that makes your music so beautiful. I love when you play the acoustic guitar, and mellow instruments. That being said I admire and respect you for trying new ways of creating beautiful music. I will support you as an artist and as a beautiful human being always ,and if I am lucky, alive and Healthy I will see you every time you come to Los Angeles.
