This CD is magnificent. If I was stranded on a desert island and could only have one CD, this would be the one I would choose. I agree with Jai-Jagdeesh's Mother, The Gift (Aasees) is my absolute favorite track. Jai-Jagdeesh's voice, the lyrics, and the music blend into sheer magic. Thank you for this.

THIS ALBUM IS AAAHH-MAZING!!!!!! Seriously, I don't even have words to describe how transporting (into the Divine), enchanting, deep, and beautiful this is in every way. Plus, it's FUNKY! Got to have that funk and I love that Jai-Jagdeesh added the funk-factor into this album. I am deeply in love with the first song, and a few of the others, too. Jai's voice is exquisite. You've got to get this one.

I was one of the lucky ones that got advanced access to the album.. I’ve spent the last 6 weeks with it on repeat on every sound producing device that I own. Having spent countless hours listening to this album I can say that this is one of the finest pieces of musical artistry I’ve heard in a long time. The textures of Jai-Jagdeesh’s voice and the supporting instruments are just stunning. However, what really makes this album is that you can feel in the pit of your soul what Jai is singing. She said that with this album she felt like she tore her heart from her chest and offered it to us. I can attest that this is absolutely the case. The cover picture is what a woman broken wide open looks like. More importantly, however, this album is what a woman broken wide open sounds like. Listening you want to merge in her beauty, the beauty of the infinite, and with your own beauty. It wraps you in a blanket of richly textured love that you do not want to stop. If this album and Jai herself do not win a Grammy then the system is broken.

This albums reaches inside of you and opens up parts of yourself you didn’t expect. It goes deep and has some serious soul. Adele and Beyoncé have nothing on Jai-Jagdeesh. This woman rocks!

This is heart-opening, raw, incredible music. Amazing songwriting and musicianship throughout. Down come the walls redefines the new age genre entirely.

I love Jai-Jagdeesh! This album just continues to prove what a powerful and beautiful singer and artist she is. I’m always moved by her singing, but I was really excited when I previewed these songs because they are unique and beautiful!

This album is rocking my world in the best of ways. Thank you Jai, from the bottom of my heart. Your mastery, soulfulness and vulnerability are inspiring. "She kissed me" is the most powerful piece of music I have heard in many, many years. It touches me so deeply and brings me into a place of gratitude and softness for the transience of our lives and the grief we go through.

If track 5 is a glimpse to the rest of this album, then watch out! I’ve had it on repeat all day- it mellows me and energizes me at the same time. Great artistry here!
