If you find music that emotionally connects and has that wonderful rawness to it that’s almost impossible to find in places besides the blues, Danielle Nicole and her band have you COVERED. My introduction to this amazing album was the song “Save Me”, and it delivers on all that smoky promise in every song. If you love the blues, listen. If you don’t know what the deal is with this “blues” thing is, listen. It’s a rare pleasure to be taken musically through good times and bad with such style. I appreciate the hell out of it, and I’m infinitely grateful that I bumbled out of my igloo of ignorance in time to find it.

This album is amazing. I listen to it daily. Danielle's voice together with her passion make her a force of nature! This band is great, I highly recommend them! C.Jones

Her best recording yet. If you don’t know about Danielle, you need to listen to this right now. The best female blues singer extant (female and blues may be unnecessarily qualifiers). Save Me is my personal favorite track, but they are all great. A really impressive list of great guest guitar players gives extra textures, but no one should think the DNB guitarist Brandon Miller is less than excellent. I didn’t think anyone could follow Nick Schnebelen, Danielle’s brother and TUF guitarist (who plays on Crawl) but Brandon continues to impress me. I doubt I will make a better purchase this year.

In the classic style of such greats as Joplin or Winehouse, Danielle Nicole moves effortlessly through this group of tunes combining rock, blues and soul. The tracks themselves are brilliantly written and performed. It is refreshing in such a lyricless environment to actually hear songs that have something to say...As a vocalist and guitarist she's pure gold and at the top of her game. If you haven't downloaded this or purchased a physical CD, I suggest you do so...NOW! Hail the new queen of the blues...Danielle Nicole and "Cry No More"
