The reviews here are funny because Luke's fans give it 5 stars and that haters give him one. So to the haters, I say, take a chill. IIf a band like, say, U2, continued making songs like New Years Day instead of releasing The Joshua Tree and Achtung Baby, their career would've ended in the 80s with A FLock of Seagulls. U2 HAD to evolved to stay relevant. So it is with all forms of music, including country. If every band sounded like Waylon, no one would listen and the genre would've burned itself out decades ago.
That said, I'm in my 50s and I love Luke and Chesney and FGL, etc. It's fun music, perfect for the poolside. This album's decent with some strong points, but like Kenny, Luke's getting preachier as he gets old and I don't need any musical artist preaching to me. I'll download the songs I like and the rest of the album won't make it to my laptop.
