I have not had the pleasure yet of seeing this artist perform live but I would love to. This is real talent as shown in each recording on this album. There is a very appealing listening quality to the instruments used and how they are used. A great album all the way around.

I had the rare opportunity to watch Scott August play in person while on a trip through Arches National Park. He was playing some of his instruments he uses in his song--and even donates a percentage of his album earnings to the Park. As for his music, it is calm, relaxing, and meditative. It was strong in Native American influences with drums and flutes. Scott August is a definately a must for anyone who likes easy listening New Age or meditative type music.
