I grew up on metal & hard rock music. And I absolutely hate(d) anything to do with pop music in general, but then early this year I discovered Pamyu Pamyu because my best friend is from South Korea and all she really listens to is Kpop, Jpop, and Vocaloid. I, of course, not being into pop music actually fell in love with Pamyu Pamyu's music. She has such a cute voice and her style is absolutely adorable! Some of the comments on here saying, "What happened to real music like Nirvana and NIN?!" "The music industry is going down hill!" Don't get me wrong, I agree that a lot of modern music is actually trash. You can't even listen to modern rock music without it having some sort of pop influence anymore, which is kind of annoying. But Pamyu Pamyu is a Japanese singer. She's not American. She's not trying to cater to Americans. AND if we want to be really factual here, a ton of Americans actually LOVE Kpop & Jpop and in the last two years it's become extremely popular in the U.S. But as a person who listens to music, one thing I continue to tell people who feel the need to negatively criticise music they don't even listen to; If you don't like it, don't listen to it. It's absolutely ridiculous to sit there and write a review or a comment on a musician you know you don't like, just to talk bad about their music. You're wasting your time typing it out when you could be, I don't know, listening to the music you actually like? Music is music. I don't like rap, hip hop, pop, or indie music. So I don't listen to it. And if you do? That's great! I'm glad you like it! But don't crap on what other people like just because you've got nothing better to do with your life. I honestly don't know what the deal is with all these haters. Listen people, if you don't like Kyary, then why are you even here? She specializes in J-Pop, so of course her music is going to sound a little different. And what is with all this, 'You're so weird, you sound like a 3 year old, blah blah blah'? Ariana Grande and Camila Cabello both have pretty high voices, and no one calls them 3 year olds. A Japanese music fan probably wouldn't like Jessie J or Adele because they have deeper voices. Now, moving on to the album. I just love these songs! They are all very original (I didn't think I'd ever hear a song about fake eyelashes in my life) have great beats, not to mention they're all pretty dang well executed. My 3 favorites are PONPONPON, Crazy Party Night and Sai & Co. She's sort of the Melanie Martinez of Japan when you think about it, except, more kawaii, less creepy (Don't get me wrong, I love Mel). Love her voice. Totally cute. It brings me much happiness. Heard her on my AKB48 Pandora station and here I am. Some of these bitter people need some KPP in their lives. SMH.

It's kawaii and it is good music even though people say it's not. The girl singing it is actually looks kawaii and sounds kawaii

First of all this is very fun Imaginative and upbeat music. Mostly all the people who left negative comments are generally very culturally ignorant and intolerant. Not only is this actually very popular in the USA but in Asia and Europe. All this talk about sounding like quality music like nirvana ? Honestly nirvana was its own type of music and not even very good to begin with it only became a hit because of the lead singers tragic end. No offense but not everyone has the same taste in music. For me I really can't stand rap. Does that make all rap terrible? No. If you don't like it move on... And by the way she sounds wonderful give it a try!

People love Ariana Grande, and she has an extremely high voice, and no one called HER a 3 year old!! I mean, a Japanese person probably would dislike Selena Gomez, because she sounds different.

why is everyone giving these songs one star. There is nothing bad about it. It's actual quality music unlike most of our countries popular music. And you do know that not everyone sounds the same right? So what she has a high voice she is a good artist.

I get how people say she is sounds like a 3 year old, but remember some of these songs came out a while ago, like PONPONPON is what got me into her, that was made around 2013 or 2014, so let it go people, and some are new and we never heard them, who cares!?!? She has a great talent for her music and people go out and judge her. Also, love ya music!
